President Elect Enrique Bolanos

November 20-We recently caught up with the newly elect President of Nicaragua Mr. Enrique Bolaños. A very nice and approachable person. We met Mr. Bolaños in Managua and told him that we were from the Caribbean coast and would like to ask him just a couple of question since we were on our way to catch a flight back to the United States. He said sure. Then he asked what part we were from South or North? we told him South. He said ok. First we congratulated him and wished him much success during his presidency. Then the following two questions were asked. After he answered the questions he posed with us to take several pictures. Enjoy.

Pulse:. Mr. Bolaños, the question we are about to ask is for the Caribbean coast people both here and abroad, what are your immediate goals for the Caribbean coast of Nicaragua?

Bolanos: First I will make the airport in Bluefields bigger to accommodate larger airplane to land there. This will make it easier for international flights to go to Bluefields.

Pulse: Any other goals?

Bolanos: Yes, I will try to complete the road from Nueva Guinea to Bluefields to make it easier for merchants by providing a direct road transportation from the capital.
