Iris Ordeñana Bound For Jamaica
Charming 21 year old beauty MISS IRIS ORDEÑANA from Managua will represent the beautiful Caribbean Coast & the entire Nicaragua, at the 5th staging of the prestigious Miss Global International Beauty Pageant. The Miss Global International Beauty Pageant is scheduled to take place on August 1st 2009, in the tropical paradise of Montego Bay, Jamaica at the beautiful Rose Hall Resort and Spa [A Hilton Resort]. Ms. Ordeñana was specially selected by THE MISS ONENESS BEAUTY Pageant organization, headed by its Executive Pageant Director and President of ONENESS ENTERTAINMENT, Mr. Gregory Lewin. Her parents are from the community of Siuna, in the North Atlantic Autonomous Region. The lovely Ms. Ordeñana is no stranger to the beauty industry as she was the BEST MODEL in the Miss Nicaragua Pageant this year. She has been modeling since the age of 17 and has modeled for some of Nicaragua’s top designers and due to her flair and style has also graced the catwalk internationally. She has a genuine passion for modeling and this beauty has already created a name for herself as being one of Nicaragua’s top models. This articulate young lady enjoys modeling, traveling, reading, dancing and listening to soca music. Miss Ordeñana is a University graduate having pursued her studies in the Hospitality & Tourism Industry and is currently working to acquire her own hospitality business. A dream very close to her heart is working alongside the Government and people of Nicaragua to help alleviate the struggles faced by our youths in today’s society. Having been chosen Miss ONENESS 2009 Iris focus as well would be on helping the underprivileged children of the Caribbean coast, and most of all through the pageant company, boosting the tourism industry, thereby creating a stronger and more visible representation of the Caribbean coast and the entire Nicaragua. She takes great pride in acknowledging her roots in Siuna, and looks forward in visiting before she leaves for Jamaica. This vivacious and dynamic young lady will vie for the coveted title of Miss Global International from a bevy of other lovely delegates from across the globe, namely: China, Australia, Venezuela, South Africa, Canada, USA and Panama just to name a few. Other sectional awards to be won are: Miss Congeniality, Best Talent, Best Costume and Most Aware. Apart from fostering stronger relations and sharing ideas with her international counterparts, Iris and all the other delegates would have the rewarding opportunity to visit places of interest in Jamaica such as: Dolphin Cove where they will swim with the dolphins, experience the rides of Mystic Mountain and Dunn’s River Falls in Ocho Rios. This talented and intelligent young lady is very much excited and looks forward in becoming a wonderful ambassadress for our homeland of Nicaragua! She is working diligently and steadfast in securing all that is needed for her impending departure to Jamaica on July 29th 2009. She has all the qualities and most of all the determination and passion to represent Nicaragua and be a worthy contestant at the Miss Global International Beauty Pageant.
