Bluefieldds, RAAS - On November
27, 2010 in San Pedro Sula, Honduras young Denzell George Pollack from
the neighborhood of Old Bank in the city of Bluefields participated and
won the
Heptathlon championship at the 2010
Central American Youth Athletic Championship games. His efforts and
dedication to the sport of track and field gave Nicaragua a gold medal.
Denzell is 13 years old and a student at the St. Mark's high school
in Bluefields.
Contrary to what you may have heard about
Denzell not being recognized for his achievements, it is important to
point out that bluefielddspulse has learned that not only was young
Denzell taken out to dinner with his parents by Old Bank Councilman
Rubiard Murray who thanked him for his accomplishment and advised him to
keep up the good work just prior to attending some personal matters out
of town but Denzell was also honored by the San Marcos school during
their 2010 graduation ceremony with trophy, gifts and a certificate of
achievement. (see photo above) Denzell's recognition for his
accomplishments came from those who matters the most; his parents,
Councilman Rubiard Murray and the San Marcos school.
